It's A Dog's Life takes pride in providing top quality pet care. All pets are given individualized attention. All pet owners are treated with honesty and respect. New dogs are carefully screened to ensure that group activities are safe and fun for everyone...dogs and people alike!

Dog Walking
Are long work hours having an ill effect on your dog? Is your loving canine shredding your furniture while you’re away? Daily exercise can help relieve boredom and stress for your pet, thus reducing behavior problems. Regular exercise improves overall health and longevity. This service includes a friendly visit, a nice long walk, water bowl replenishment and a healthy treat.

REGULAR RATES for Up to Two Family Dogs
30-minute walk: $20.00
45-minute walk: $25.00
1-hour walk: $30.00
Additional per dog fee for 3 or more: $10.00

Behavior Consultation & Dog Training
Does your dog need training or do your just have some questions? Did you recently adopt a new puppy or adult dog? Behavior consultation and dog training services are available through private sessions with Lauralea Oliver, Certified Pet Dog Trainer. Lauralea specializes in working with rescued and adopted dogs and puppies! Consultations may result in behavior modification programs or a recommendation to a specialized trainer or group class. Behavioral issues are addressed using a personalized, case specific procedure implementing reward-based training methods. All family members are encouraged to be present for the initial 90-minute session and for each subsequent 60-minute session. Please contact the company directly for rates and to schedule an appointment. Training packages are available.

Group Dog Training Classes
Certified Pet Dog Trainer, Professional K9 Handler and Veteran K9 Nose Work Competitor Lauralea Oliver is the instructor for all group dog-training classes.

K9 Nose Work
K9 Nose Work is structured to be a safe and welcoming environment for ALL dogs and ALL dog owners. Every dog of any breed, shape, size, age and background can participate in K9 Nose Work. This class is especially good for dogs with anxiety or fear issues, dogs lacking self-confidence or for dogs that are uncomfortable with new people and/or other dogs. All classes are held at the First Congregational Church of Glendale located at 2001 Canada Blvd, Glendale, California 91208.

Already a K9 Nose Work student? Does your dog already have an Intro to Nose Work class under their collar? Are you getting ready for a Nose Work Trial? If so, our Nose Work Drop-In Class on Thursday evenings at 8:00pm is for you! Training Walks
Is your pup still pulling on the leash? Does your otherwise mild-mannered pooch lose their cool when another dog is present? Is your dog’s cat chasing habits sending you to the chiropractor? We offer Training Walks with our Certified Pet Dog Trainer and Company Owner Lauralea Oliver. These walks are scheduled by the hour. Loose leash walking skills and appropriate leash behavior will be taught to your dog using safe, humane and reward-based methods. Special equipment may be required in some cases; i.e. Gentle Leaders, Easy Walks, Martingale collars. We do not use choke chain collars under any circumstance.

REGULAR RATE
60-minute Training Walk: $40.00 per dog (Rate will increase to $45.00 after January 1, 2012)

Pet and House Sitting
Planning a long vacation or just a last minute weekend getaway? We can accommodate your needs! Our Pet Sitting service provides your pet with a reliable and trustworthy human for companionship and care while the family is away. Evening and morning dog walks are included in this service. Playtime and cuddles are abundantly provided. Feedings, medication and treats are given at the owner's instructions. Plants are watered, mail/newspapers are collected, rubbish bins are taken out/in, lights rotated and any other small animals are cared for at the owner's request and instruction.

REGULAR RATE for Up to Two Family Dogs
Overnight Stays: $60.00 per night
Additional per dog fee for 3 or more: $10.00
Additional per cat fee for 3 or more: $10.00

Potty Breaks or Feedings
This is a 15-minute service available for puppies under the age of six months, senior or disabled dogs, cats or other small pets. A reliable pet care professional will look in on the pet for a brief time. An outside potty break is provided for dogs or puppies and litter box scooping for cats or kittens. Water bowls are replenished. Meals and medications can be given as instructed. This service is available throughout the day and into the early evening.
